Info: My friends and I decided to cosplay from this since our body types were hilariously appropriate for the characters. I was a bit torn on who to cosplay, but I ended up choosing Mizore. She’s voiced by Kugimiya Rie, cute, and something totally different! I love surprising people in this costume, because they don’t realize it’s me right away.

I made the sweatshirt top and skirt for this costume. It was my first time making a pleated skirt, and proved to be difficult based on the horrible (but color accurate!) fabric I chose for everyone. It was some kind of tent fabric and did NOT like being pinned or sewn. All the stripes for the skirt were skinny yellow bias tape, glued and top-stitched down. It was a slow process, but I’m pretty pleased with it. Also, the dog tag on the necklace reads “Mizore – Yuki Onna.” My wig was styled by Molly and touched up by Katie.
