Do you make your own costumes?
I do! Sometimes it’s easier to purchase a costume or base it off existing pieces, but I strive to create my own costumes. All costumes in my portfolio were sewn and created by me unless otherwise stated. I’m pretty specific about what is handmade and what is purchased in construction notes.
Are you attending _____con/event?
Upcoming events are listed to the right of this page. Generally I attend shows in the Atlanta, GA metro area.
Is ______ costume for sale?
Sometimes I sell costumes I no longer wear or do not have room in my closet for. Such costumes will be listed on my Storenvy, so check there first!
Do you sell cosplay prints?
Currently I do not, though I would consider it if enough people were interested or if I were offered table space at a convention.
Do you take on cosplay commissions?
Currently I do not. I barely have enough time to sew for myself these days!
How can I get into cosplay?
Wear a costume!!! Attend events/shows in your area, craft your own costumes or even purchase them online. Anyone can cosplay, and everybody starts somewhere!
Why don’t you make as many costumes as you used to?
I’m pretty busy these days with my home and family life. I also strive for QUALITY over quantity. This means I pay careful attention to details and strive for stellar craftsmanship over cranking out several mediocre costumes. I’m a perfectionist!
Can you tell me how you made ____ costume?
I can’t break down the entire, exact construction process for my costumes, but I can answer specific questions such as “Where did you purchase your wig for Sailor Venus?” or “How did you create the stripes on Tsumugi’s dress?”
