I watched the K-ON! anime as it aired in Japan every week, and fell in love with the series. It’s pure fluff and slice-of-life at its finest, with strong bonds of friendship between a group of girls. I relate to Mugi the most because of her eccentric nature and love of tea & sweets. My friends and I decided to cosplay their school uniforms together.

This is one of those instances where I can’t take credit for sewing or creating anything on a costume. We all bought matching blazers (from Chadwicks) and shoes for consistency, and since I paid for Samu-chan‘s blazer, she made my pleated skirt in exchange. Later, I bought a cream-colored vest (from American Apparel) to portray the summer uniform as well.
